 Kalanhoe juice has an anti-inflammatory effect, contributes to the cleaning dead tissues from wounds, and stimulates the regeneration of tissues. Use in cases of surface ulcers, non-healing wounds, burns, bedsores, nipple cracks of nursing mother, thrush, and gingivitis. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity.
Recommended dosage: For internal use, inject 1 to 3 milliliters of juice by syringe into the affected area and then apply 4 to 5 layers of well soaked gauze bandage. Change the bandage every day for the first week and then every other day. In addition, once a day soak the lower layers of the bandage with juice after removing the upper layers. Normal course of treatment lasts between 15 to 20 days. For aliments in the mouth apply Kalanhoe juice on the wound 3 to 4 times daily. For mouth and tooth aliments before use warm juice in water bath to a temperature of 37C or 98F.
Side effects include allergic reactions and localized burning.
